Rachel Hunt talks Emergency Preparedness - UPDATE

Rachel Hunt, Community Resilience Co-ordinator for Civil Defence Emergency Management in Christchurch, will be talking about Earthquakes -  giving us the latest information on the Alpine Fault Magnitude 8 (AF8) programme, likely scenarios of an Alpine Fault rupture, and the potential impacts of this earthquake.


The presentation also includes more general information on earthquakes such as how earthquakes are generated, how to keep ourselves safe during earthquakes, as well as how to make a plan for emergencies.
