Join the new Gardeners' Group

Calling all Garden Enthusiasts!

Monday 5 October, 5.30pm

Lyttelton Community Garden

Exciting news for local gardeners - come along to a gardening group monthly meeting! We have rejuvenated this locally focused group in time for the super El Niño summer.

We will be:

• Organising some garden visits

• do some work in the community garden

• talk about gardening

• look at group purchasing garden ‘stuff’

• share seedlings

• Share ideas and information

• experimenting with garden weed management

• look at some garden crafting

• ideas/recipes for garden produce excess

• Sharing ideas/skills around water storage, wind shelter building and shading inside glass houses.

Everyone is welcome to come along - no prior gardening expertise required. Come and share what you do know, and we will learn from each other! 

First meeting - Monday 5 October in the Community Garden at 5.30pm.

We will work out an agenda at the start of each meeting - all ideas and topics welcome.
